Getting started with your Flexible Compensation Plan(s) is as easy as 1, 2, 3.
HRAs and FSAs are qualified plans under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), and consequently are required to be formally installed and adopted. Our set up includes the following which are required to maintain the tax-free status advantages of your plans.
- Delivery of a tailor-made plan document for your plan(s). Without this document you have no plan!
- Summary plan descriptions (SPD) to provide to your employees.
As an industry leader, TPA Systems Inc. has been offering smart debit cards with our plans since 2006.
- We can stack your FSA, HRA, and HSA all on one debit card, which makes using benefits easier than ever, no waiting on reimbursements!
- Cards are programmed to only allow eligible purchases based on employer design and IRS guidelines for FSA, HRA and HSA.
- Can be deactivated or reactivated at either the employer or the administrator level.
Debit cards are programed based on the The Inventory Information Approval System, or IIAS, which is a point-of-sale technology used by healthcare service providers and retailers that accept FSA debit cards. We provide the plan documents necessary to ensure that the plans and debit cards function and interact with one another according to the stated rules.
